Afternoon all. Do any of you know the difference between Raglan sleeves and Set in sleeves, and in particular with a Harrington. Do the Set in sleeves make the jacket more tailored and therefore more fitted across the shoulders and chest? Cheers, Mark

Yep, thats exactly it Mark. Raglan sleeves are more traditional, and look good on anyone including those carrying a bit of timber. An example of the Raglan sleeve is the one found on Combat brand harringtons. The inset sleeves are tailored around the area at the top of the sleeve, and that has the effect of giving a slimmer, sharper look across the shoulders and chest. A good example is the Merc harrington.
