  • Brilliant!

  • This is a great book....I got my copy back in the day, '79 or '80 and I read it again recently, after it's probably lain on my bookshelf for the past 20 or so years.   I rememebr how important it was back then, especially for us Mods in Devon where we were so removed from London and the big-city vibe.    Reading it again I remembered a lots of things that were sourced here and have since have become second nature... the way Mods stand, why different clothes go right with some shoes but not with others and why I loathe the 'Stones'...  I'm a firm believer that if you've gotta ask what Mod is, you'll never be one... but for anyone who's not sure; here's the best reference point you'll ever have!..

  • Cant say i dislike any of the tunes on here they are the bollox, Oh and thanks for putting them on Stephen becouse im listening to these i am in deep poo with the missus now i forgot to record her TV programe LOL
    • 'Mods and Rockers' is a book written by Gareth Brown who used to write for 'Scootering'. He also wrote 'Scooter Boys'. 'Scooter Boys' is a good book. 'Mods and Rockers' IMO is not. He could of done and should of done a much better job.
  • Well thats a good price.
    • Mods and Rockers is in H.M.V. in Liverpool 1 for £5. To be honest it's not very good.
  • Scootering Magazine sell it for £13.49 and that inclouds postage. Best mod book ever written.
