What I bought today...

Just thought that I'd start this topic as nobody has [bothered?] to start it yet!

I was in one of my local charity shops today and bought these women's basket-weave, tassel loafers for only $8.50 AUD! Absolutely brill, to say the least! ;-) Now I can wear them with my new trousers from Sportscraft (see link below) and my Ben Sherman boating blazers! They were made by Australian shoe manufacturer Sandler, as part of their "Easy Steps" collection which still exists today. I think these shoes were an absolute find and would make excellent work and leisure (by that I mean dancing) shoes!

I also picked up two of my lay-aways. The first being two pairs of capris trousers - one pair in black and another in navy. Don't let the "capri" style fool you. They actually look like full-length trouser on me. I paid $105 AUD for each pair, instead of $150.

The second lay-away I picked up today was this lovely dress from Target that I purchased on sale a couple of months ago!

Happy shopping my Mod brothers and sisters! Look forward to reading and seeing what you've bought!

    • I don't see what's wrong with it, Bec. Summers are getting hotter over here, too!

    • Yes, and my Summer has barely finished. You wouldn't see me in that singlet, let alone flip flops to go with it... even in the Aussie summer. ;-) T-shirts with a scooter motif or my t-shirt with Mod-Target with bullet holes in it (as designed by a mate who was a Mod), FP button downs, polos or even the funny/thought-provoking slogan on it with trousers/capris with trainers or loafers are my summer attire. An exception being the odd crimplene, vintage or vintage-inspired dress with sheer-to-waist stockings and appropriate shoes as illustrated a couple of times this - by me - in over 35C heat! ;-)

    • Wow, must order one of those to train in....Ha-ha

    • You  have a vested interest in saying that Kai ha ha

    • Reserved for the Linz Boat trip, provided the sun is out, Chris! :-)

    • Will look amazing with a pair of denim shorts, Jesus sandals (with white socks obv) and a straw panama hat Kai. You will be the talk of the town mate ha ha

    • More like expelled from Linz for life, hahaha!

    • There is no way on earth that would ever happen Kai, so go ahead and wear your Mod vest. If anyone says anything just say you were influenced on your trips to the Glasgow Mod Weekenders ha ha

    • I think in this instance, Rab c Nesbitt looks smarter than Paul Weller ha ha
