What I bought today...

Just thought that I'd start this topic as nobody has [bothered?] to start it yet!

I was in one of my local charity shops today and bought these women's basket-weave, tassel loafers for only $8.50 AUD! Absolutely brill, to say the least! ;-) Now I can wear them with my new trousers from Sportscraft (see link below) and my Ben Sherman boating blazers! They were made by Australian shoe manufacturer Sandler, as part of their "Easy Steps" collection which still exists today. I think these shoes were an absolute find and would make excellent work and leisure (by that I mean dancing) shoes!

I also picked up two of my lay-aways. The first being two pairs of capris trousers - one pair in black and another in navy. Don't let the "capri" style fool you. They actually look like full-length trouser on me. I paid $105 AUD for each pair, instead of $150.

The second lay-away I picked up today was this lovely dress from Target that I purchased on sale a couple of months ago!

Happy shopping my Mod brothers and sisters! Look forward to reading and seeing what you've bought!

    • I've always liked the look of the Weavers H. Defo a good looking, classic summer shoe but for me personally, when I've gone to pull the trigger on Clarks, it's been the Wallabee, the Desert or back in my soulie days the Polyveldts. What do you find the most appealing about the weavers H?

    • In all honesty Gary I wear them all. Slightly prefer Weavers because they have a smarter silhouette. Try a pair on with Levis when you're out and about, lol bet you end up with a pair ;-)

    • I have tried them H and they looked super smart and fit like kid gloves. I just found them, lets say 'too delicate and not robust enough' for my persuits. I've a tidy collection of Clarks, along with other good brands and styles. To be fair, the weaver is a unique, individual style and I can see why you like them. Very smart ;0)

  • Another Karen Millen I have lusted after since it came out last October in the UK and now finally made it's to KM Australia... with 20% off RRP and on layaway. ;-)

    • Poppin’

    • Like it a lot Bec, not for myself though........obviously :-)

    • Nice pattern, Bec. Here's my latest purchase, in time for the Linz Weekender... Gibson of course.

    • Thanks Kai, as I have lusted after it long enough. Of course it'd be a Gibson! ;-) I wouldn't have thought you buy any other brand or style unless it was Aquascutum, Gabicci or [our] favourite, the boating blazer... ;-)
