What I bought today...

Just thought that I'd start this topic as nobody has [bothered?] to start it yet!

I was in one of my local charity shops today and bought these women's basket-weave, tassel loafers for only $8.50 AUD! Absolutely brill, to say the least! ;-) Now I can wear them with my new trousers from Sportscraft (see link below) and my Ben Sherman boating blazers! They were made by Australian shoe manufacturer Sandler, as part of their "Easy Steps" collection which still exists today. I think these shoes were an absolute find and would make excellent work and leisure (by that I mean dancing) shoes!

I also picked up two of my lay-aways. The first being two pairs of capris trousers - one pair in black and another in navy. Don't let the "capri" style fool you. They actually look like full-length trouser on me. I paid $105 AUD for each pair, instead of $150.

The second lay-away I picked up today was this lovely dress from Target that I purchased on sale a couple of months ago!

Happy shopping my Mod brothers and sisters! Look forward to reading and seeing what you've bought!

    • Looks good Chris !

    • There sre a lot of top tracks on it Andy. The majority are ones that people on here will mostly be familiar with but there are a few slightly unusual ones too. I think the cover is crap which takes away from the quality of the CD itself. In saying all that i have yet to listen to it so it may end up as rubbish as it looks ha ha

    • Now that is an absolute bargain sir. Worth it for the Truth alone.

    • Cheers. There is another Truth track on it too. (Confussion Hits Us Every time) as well as some unusual Mod revival tracks ( The Crooks and the Nips) plus a lot if great Motown, 60s Soul and R&B. Probably widely available but I bought mine in Morrisons if that is of any help.

    • Got me this for 3€ recently; agreed, always good for the car, these compilations. Though I intend to get a turntable fitted soon!;-)

    • Have that CD too Kai and it is pretty good. I think i paid either four or five quid for it around maybe six years ago.

    • You get that stuff off eBay in good used condition for next to nothing...

    • Yeah CDs are pretty cheap to buy now Kai, even the good one's.
