  • Ok it's been a long time since I updated ya'll about the scooter club.

Just so you know what's happening at the 'clubhouse' here's a rough outline of rides and events we're involved with/organising or attending.

Remember our regular Sunday evening meets will still be taking place at Bar Italia from 6pm (weather depending).

WE ain't gonna do that! Instead, we will be heading through London, then on to a scenic destination in the countryside. It's a surprise so watch this space for more information.

That's it for now. Talk about busy eh! If you want more information, check us out on Facebook

  • Here's a quick heads up about the Bar Italia Scooter club/New Untouchables rideout on the August Bank Holiday Sunday.

We meet at the Volks Bar and pose about for a while. This will be from 2-3pm.

At 3pm, watch myself and Rob Bailey closely as we will be announcing the scooter competition after deliberation.

    After photos etc...

I'll be hopping on the Lambretta and starting the engine. Here's what we're doing:

All depart heading EAST (that's to the left NOT right to the roundabout!) along Madeira Drive.

Take the up ramp at the end of this road.

    Turn RIGHT onto Marine Parade

Continue along Marine Parade, past the marina and head straight over any roundabouts for approximately 5 miles.

Turn RIGHT into the Smugglers Rest Pub car park.

    PARK.

    Jobs a good 'un.

The friendly staff are expecting us and should be able to accommodate us.

We'll head back into Brighton when we're ready of course.

    Cheesy Peasy!
