Art Gallery Clothing

Scoots, Suits and Boots .com  are really excited to announce that we have beome stockists of brand spanking new brand Art GalleryClothing. The collection is by Alex Banks who left his job as creative director of merc, and set up his own brand. Its the kind of stuff that made merc what they where before they “sold out,” err I mean changed direction.

We have recently taken stock of a Limited Edition range from Art Gallery Clothing.

I have selected the gear because as soon as I laid eyes on it, I knew we where on to a winner.

The AGC  knitwear that we are currently stocking has  that " touched by the hand of mod" appeal that we love here at SSB ( thats we use the words in our logo !).  It is a range that sits well with contemporary fashion, but is quite clearly influenced by the more casual aspects of Sixties mod attire.

I also felt that this collection and future collections will fill the gap that was left by merc clothing's obvious change of direction. This will come as no surprise to you, if I put you in the know, and tell you that the man behind the brand is Alex Banks, who left his role as Creative Director at merc to concentrate on growing his own brand.

Those of you on the London club scene will probably also know of his involvement with the infamous Lordy Lord club nights at the Clinic in Chinatown.
